Disability Discrimination Ordinance (Chapter 487 of the Laws of Hong Kong)

The Disability Discrimination Ordinance protects persons with disabilities from discrimination, harassment and vilification in areas specified in the Ordinance, including employment.
The Disability Discrimination Ordinance also covers persons who are associated with a disabled person, or who, due to disability, require the assistance of an interpreter, reader, assistant or carer to provide services. An "associated person" of a person includes the person's spouse, relative, carer, person living with the person on a family basis, or person with whom the person has a business, sporting or leisure relationship.
