Sex Discrimination Ordinance ( Chapter 480 of the Laws of Hong Kong)

The Sex Discrimination Ordinance stipulates that it is illegal to discriminate against a person because of his or her sex , marital status or pregnancy in the areas specified in the Ordinance, including employment.

​

Apart from prohibiting discrimination, the Sex Discrimination Ordinance also protects persons from sexual harassment and victimisation in specified areas, including employment.
