The Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association Social Service Centre's "Job Seeking Financial Assistance" program under the "DiamondAge Employment Extension Project" will reopen for applications in June 2024. This program provides financial support for middle-aged and elderly individuals who are unemployed or underemployed to help cover job-seeking expenses and alleviate their economic difficulties. Eligible applicants will be granted a maximum of HKD 1,000, which can be claimed on a reimbursement basis for job-seeking expenses.

Target Group: Individuals aged 50 or above who are unemployed or underemployed
Financial Assistance Amount: HKD 1,000 per person

Not CSSA recipient
Actively seeking employment in Hong Kong
Income Limit: HKD 11,000
Asset Limit: HKD 106,500 (The value of the applicant's and cohabiting family members' primary residence is not included in the total asset limit)
